The 2026 US Ladies Gaelic Football Team - South proudly represents the strength, skill, and spirit of the American South as they prepare to compete at the 2026 GAA World Games in Waterford, Ireland. Bringing together talented athletes from across the region, this team embodies resilience, athleticism, and a deep respect for the tradition of Gaelic football. With speed, physicality, and tactical discipline, they compete with heart and unity, carrying not only the Southern US banner, but also the continued growth of women's Gaelic games in North America. The Ladies Gaelic Football South Ish tryouts successfully assembled skilled athletes from various clubs including Houston Gaelic Athletic Club, Dallas, Memphis, Nashville GAA, ATL GAA Ladies Football, Hartford GAA, and Boston for an exceptional day of competition in ladies football and camogie. Sincere appreciation is extended to selectors Sharon McAleer and Kate Curran for their dedication and efforts. All participants demonstrated diligence; now on to the afters at Olde Blind Dog!
